Refocusing

The first Pro Wrestling RESPECT event will be over soon and I've recently been reflecting on my career to this point. I'm going on four years wrestling, and compared to many at my age, I've done a lot with my life. I've wrestled on pay-per-view, national television, in arenas that have house hundred to thousands of fans, and traveled across this country to wrestle everybody I can. Unfortunately, I don't find that to be enough. There's one thing I feel I'm lacking and that's true, bona fide respect.

Since I've started wrestling, I've had to sacrifice a lot! I've had to sit here in the Northeast and watch as my mother got blackballed from her profession to finding out that I no longer have a home to go back to. I've had to deal with trying to earn the respect of my peers, people that I compete with on every wrestling event I'm involved with, while dealing with personal issues. Most people would buckle and quit, but not me. I'm not saying I'm a tough-guy, but what I am saying is, I can deal with a lot in order to get what I want.

I've trained with some of the wrestlers and champions in professional wrestling. From Austin Aries to Bryan Danielson to Samoa Joe to Christopher Daniels, I've spent time learning from each one of them for some period of time. That's not to mention everyone else I try to learn from on the road or when they come up to the ROH Training center to lend a hand. I didn't ask for advice or train with these athletes because it was expected of me. I trained with them because I wanted to! I want to the best wrestler I can be. That may sound cocky to some, but we're in this profession to be best! I don't ever want to be an underachiever.

Now, it may sound like I'm just rambling about myself, but there is a point. Everyone who's gone through the ROH Wrestling Academy gets looked through a different view than most other wrestlers that have come through ROH. Many critics don't think a lot of us graduates can hang with the elite, and we're only good when we're used as a footstool for new competition. Well, that's going to change. I've been refocusing on who I am and what I want people to see. I've been training in the gym, at the wrestling academy, studying videos of myself and various other wrestlers to come up with a game plan for success in Pro Wrestling RESPECT.

Many people think Alex Payne is just a guy with a goofy nickname. I'm here to change that. Pro Wrestling RESPECT is about changing the perception people have of Alex Payne. Its time to show the wrestling audience why I love wrestling, why I got into this sport and, most importantly, why I'm in Pro Wrestling RESPECT in the first place!

Hey there wrestling fans, Grizzly Redwood here with some news as bad as a dull ax. Like everyone involved in Pro Wrestling Respect I’ve been training my hide off to prepare for this great opportunity. What I guess people don’t realize is how dangerous even training can be. Just about a month ago I tweaked an old knee injury and in a hard fought victory over the very accomplished Sonjay Dutt. It grew worse, leaving me unable to wrestle for some time.

No worries here folks. I’ll be there as sure as there is syrup in a maple tree. I’ll be giving every bit of effort and ability that the “Littlest Lumberjack” has to offer. I have managed to acquire a temporary referee’s license good for the month of January. So you better believe I’ll be in the ring for one match working hard as the Special Guest Referee!

MsChif and Jamilia Craft better be ready for a fair fight because, I’m gonna’ call it right down the middle. Injury or not, I can’t wait for this show and I’m happy to be a part of it. I’ll see you all in Burlington on Sunday January 24th! Keep on choppin’ kids!

You know there used to be a time when I thought I would never go anywhere in this world. Business meeting, after business meeting, after business meeting. That's my life. I can honestly say that I work 9 to 5, Monday through Friday, and I LOVE IT!!! Working alongside different high end agents, attorneys, brokers, and commissioners gives me more power then I could ever want in life. One problem though, I WANT MORE!

Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love raising taxes, keeping documents classified, acquiring various resources from different nations, and most importantly…making money. For the past few months during the weekends that I have been away from my office I have been keeping a close eye on the professional wrestling business. Where some fans see interesting characters, hard hitting and high-flying action- I see opportunities, business transactions, profit, and power.

One upstart company that I have a close eye on is Pro Wrestling Respect. This company is putting on their first wrestling show on January 24th in Burlington, NJ and I believe that this is the perfect opportunity for me to nab fresh talent. Some of these youngsters don't know a damn thing about life. They don't know about the inner workings of our government, our world power groups, or the truth about life itself. These naive, young wrestlers are ripe for the picking for smart, highly trained people like me. They're cattle and nothing more. I shall seize this opportunity to begin a new era in professional wrestling. The era of Stetson Enterprises.
