Wuerde ihm jetzt mal Recht geben mit dem Zusatz das Diaz ja auch noch positiv getestet wurde in seinem letzten Fight. Hendricks kommt super rueber, hat gute Argumente fuer sich und bringt die auch gut rueber.
Ansonsten nehme ich das mal zum Anlass fuer ein uebergreifendes Thema. Vor 5 Jahren noch haette ich nicht geglaubt das es so schnell geht sich das MMA so an das Boxen annaehert. Matchmaking war damals schon teilweise fishy, aber lange nicht so wie die letzten 1-2 Jahre in der UFC. Jetzt picken die UFC Champions sich auch noch leichte Gegner heraus und die UFC bookt Fights wie Silva vs Bonnar, Jones vs Belfort, Jones vs Sonnen etc. GSP vs Diaz wird drawen, aber allgemein ist der Erfolg der UFC schon laengst zurueck gegangen und das haengt auch mit dieser Entwicklung imo zusammen das man sich dem Boxen angenaehert hat. Keine klare Linie im Matchmaking.

Patrick Cote wechselt ins Welterweight bei UFC 158
Nachdem sein Fight mit Alessio Sakara bei UFC 158 gecancelt wurde wechselt Patrick Cote nun ins Welterweight. Cote dazu:“We’ve been thinking about it since about a year now. I think now it’s the time. I was a pretty decent middleweight a couple years ago, but now those guys are really, really big. They’re cutting from like 230, 225, and I’m walking around at 205 so I spoke with my coach and my nutritionist and it’s doable so we’re going to do it.” Cote will immer noch bei UFC 158 antretten und bei dem Event sein WW Debut geben.
GSP dankt Benson Henderson
GSP hat Benson Henderson gedankt und will seine Taktik gegen Nick Diaz der Taktik von Ben Henderson gegen Nate Diaz anpassen:“That funny you asked that question because I watched very carefully your fight against Nate Diaz. I’m going to try to use some of the stuff you have done in the fight to win over Nick Diaz, as well. I’m going to learn from what you did and try to apply it in my game plan. Thanks for showing me the blueprint.”

UFC President Dana White sah sich nun veranlasst ueber Nick Diaz zu redden den Diaz ignoriert ihn:“Nick Diaz doesn't return my calls, my texts, nothing. You don't have to call me, you don't have to text me, but you do have to show up to the press conference.”
White befuerchtet das Diaz erneut eine Pressekonferenz ignorieren koennte und droht damit das er erneut aus dem Fight genommen wird oder sogar entlassen:”I would be blown away if he did it twice. It just wouldn't be a good move. We can cut you for that. I proved that you will be punished if you don't show up to those things, if you don't do it. You either won't fight the big fight that you were supposed to fight or you'll be cut.”
Naja, wenn Diaz gestrichen wird, Hendricks waere bereit.

Laut UFC President Dana White hat Nick Diaz eine moegliche Countdown Show zu UFC 158 platzen lassen und drei Interviews nicht gegeben:
“First we gotta get him to show up for the fucking interviews and then we can do it. How many has he missed, four? Three. He’s missed three. So we’ve got a crew rolling around Stockton not doing a fucking thing. It costs us a lot of money and we can’t properly sell the fight. Imagine how good his Countdown show would be. You think his video blog would be great? How about if he had a professionally shot, by professionals, the best in the business, the best at cutting and producing features on athletes. Imagine how fucking good that would be.”
Dreimal Fucking auf eine Interview Frage, das ist Dana White. Laut dem Camp von Cesar Gracie stimmt das was Dana White sagt jedoch nicht ganz. So seien die Interview Termine mit Nick Diaz vorher nicht abgestimmt gewesen und deswegen haetten sie auch nicht stattgefunden.

Ich mag Hendricks aber ich hoffe Condit spoiled diese Schwachsinnsparty der UFC. Hoffentlich versaut Diaz noch den Main Event gegen Georges St. Pierre irgendwie, dieser ganze Zirkus schreit gerade zu nach dem goldenen Schuss.

Laut Dana White steht die UFC kurz davor den GSP vs Nick Diaz Fight zu canceln, Grund soll erneut sein das Diaz etliche Termine platzen laesst (dear God, Nick Diaz ist unzuverlaessig? Wo ist die Welt nur hingekommen…). Koennte natuerlich auch nur ein PR Hype von Dana sein.
Dana White:I'm really close to cancel this Fight. I don't want to be. I don't want to do this. It sucks. He did not show up – neither did his brother Nate. And we spent over $50,000 in production costs and guys cruising around Stockton, Calif., and not interviewing people. It's not funny. We're very cool and very lenient in a lot of ways. Look at this company. Look how we are. We let a lot of things fly. But that's just absolute bullshit.
We've treated Nate and Nick with respect. Anytime they come in and want to negotiate their contracts, we do the things, we're good to everybody. At least give us the respect to show up and not blow $50 grand on not showing up for interviews you're supposed to do. All the fans are like, 'Shut up, Dana. Let Nick fight.' You shut up, idiots. This is how it works. This is the job. This is what we do. Go to your fucking job and tell your boss, 'I don't want to this or that.' That's not how it works. It's part of the job. I've shown the Diaz brothers a ton of respect. They can show some respect back. I hope I don't even have to think about that. It's the last thing on earth I want to do.”
