Während des Matches von Team AAA und den Nightmare Warriors scheint es einen Vorfall gegeben zu haben. Fenix soll laut berichten deutlich "Fuck" gesagt haben-was in CHIKARA verboten ist da die Liga sehr Kinder- und Familienfreundlich orientiert ist. Zeugen berichten das Mike Quackenbush, Gründer und Besitzer von CHIKARA,alles andere als erfreut darüber war und anordnen ließ den Merch Table von Fenix räumen zu lassen.
Einen ähnlichen Vorfall gab es vor paar Jahren mit Kevin Steen/Kevin Owens der ebenfalls laut und deutlich In Ring fluchte und von da an nie mehr von CHIKARA gebooked wurde. Steen schrieb dazu in einen Q&A mal:
