Steve Austin fehlt heutzutage eine Konkurrenz zu WWE - Nefercheperur - 11.07.2017
Steve Austin sagte nun in seinem Podcast, dass er sich eine Konkurrenz zu WWE wuenscht. Ist ja nicht gerade eine exklusive Meinung die er hat, aber dennoch hat er natuerlich Recht.
Zitat:“First of all, I think competition is paramount. I wish there was another WCW around. It was so fun back in the Monday Night Wars, to go head-to-head with those guys. They were pulling out everything but the kitchen sink. We were doing the same, and they kicked our ass in the ratings for about two years. Then, we turned the tables on them. The product was at its absolute best or was at least striving to be from a writing and performance standpoint and from a storytelling standpoint. So competition is key. WWE is the holy grail. It is the major leagues. It always has been. And WCW put up a valid fight back in the day. Back in the day, I was in WCW fighting WWF! So competition is king. I wish there was another federation for WWE.”

Das sagen wir schon seit Jahren, dass eine richtige Konkurrenz fehlt. Sehe da aber Jahre hin keine Konkurrenz die auch annähernd WWE gefährlich werden könnte. Wenn ich als Beispiel RoH nehme. Die gibt es zwar mittlerweile auch schon länger als es WCW gab, doch sind sie um Welten entfernt! Wobei sie wohl auch nicht den Anspruch haben WWE gefährlich werden zu wollen?
Aber so ist es doch überall. Konkurrenz belebt das Geschäft. Ist jemand alleiniger Herrscher, so lässt er es schleifen solange er noch genug Profit damit macht. Genau das erleben wir seit Jahren bei WWE
