Bei Byte This gab Shawn Michaels noch mal bekannt, das es KEIN Match zwischen ihm und Chris Jericho beim Royal Rumble geben wird. Nach seinem 2 Out Of 3 Falls Match bei Armageddon gegen Triple H fühlt sich der HBK körperlich nicht sehr Fit. Er sagte weiter, das er wahrscheinlich erst bei WrestleMania X-9 ein weiteres Match bestreiten wird und nach WM könnte er sich auch noch weitere Matches vorstellen.
