We will have to wait and see if the day comes where AEW Dynamite will consistently beat WWE shows in ratings, Jim Cornette certainly believes so.

Interessant ist auch ein Blick auf die TV-Zuschauerzahlen der Shows. Hier liegt WWE bei der Gesamtzuschauerzahl dank der Demo 50+ weiter deutlich vorne, in der Hauptzielgruppe ist der Abstand aber deutlich geschmolzen. „Dynamite“ ließ bei den Männern im Alter von 18-49 Jahren sogar „RAW“ deutlich hinter sich.
Bei den Männern im Alter von 18-34 Jahren lag „Dynamite“ im September gleichauf mit „RAW“ (jeweils im Schnitt 116.000 Zuschauer), bei den Männern im Alter von 35-49 Jahren lag „Dynamite“ (309.000 Zuschauer) aber sogar deutlich vor „RAW“ (267.000 Zuschauer) und nur knapp hinter „Smackdown“ (315.000 Zuschauer). Zu bedenken gilt, dass „Smackdown“ auf dem deutlich größeren Sender FOX läuft. „Smackdown“ hat alleine aufgrund des Senders einen Vorteil von ca. 33% gegenüber „RAW“ auf dem USA Network und „Dynamite“ bzw. „Rampage“ auf TNT. In der Hauptzielgruppe machen also aktuell vor allem die Frauen den Unterschied zugunsten von WWE aus. Bei den weiblichen Zuschauern sind „RAW“ und „Smackdown“ im Moment weiter deutlich beliebter.
