In JR`s Kochbuch (ja bekenne mich schuldig das ich es habe) hat er eine Liste seiner 10 groessten Tag Teams aufgezaehlt. Eine interessante Liste, mit seinen Kommentaren dazu:
1. Jack and Jerry Brisco (“Any young wrestlers wanting to make their mark in our business would be well served to watch as many tapes of the Briscos in tag action as possible.”)
2. The Assassins (“Their presence on TV caused me many bad dreams as a youngster”)
3. The Midnight Express (“Poetry in motion and conducted a clinic most every night they went to the ring”)
4. Rock 'n' Roll Express (“the consummate [lexicon]babyface[/lexicon] tag team when they lit territories on fire in the 1980s”)
5. The Fabulous Freebirds (“Hayes was a heat-seeking missile on the microphone ... Gordy was an amazing talent ... Roberts was a veteran who complemented the younger team members' style perfectly”)
6. The Four Horsemen (“[Anderson and Blanchard] might have been the best duo of the group in their prime”)
7. Dick Murdoch & Dusty Rhodes (“The world renowned 'Texas Outlaws' were so far ahead of their time, it wasn't even funny.”)
8. The Blackjacks with Bobby Heenan (“as believable as any team I think I ever saw”)
9. Bret and [lexicon]Owen Hart[/lexicon] (“If fate had dealt these two athletes a different hand they could have been the greatest team ever.”)
10. The Kentuckians, Grizzly Smith & Luke Brown (“[Their feud with the Assassins] occurred when I was around 10 or 12 years old, and I can still vividly remember it”)
