DDP hat sich jetzt ueber seine WWE Zeit geauessert 2001/2002 sowie was er veraendern wuerde im Pro Wrestling heute:
Seine Zeit bei WWE:
“There was a lot of tension coming into (WWE). But that’s how Vince McMahon rallied the troops: the evil Eric Bischoff was trying to put them out of business. When it came to the DDP character, he didn’t have a grasp on it, and didn’t really care that he didn’t. Vince is very much into the character that he creates. I created DDP myself and they wanted to change that, which didn’t work. In retrospect, I would have done things differently, but that’s the lessons that you learn through business. The best thing that ever happened to me was the worst thing that ever happened to me in WWE. What I mean by that is, I didn’t walk away from the table and that’s what I should have done: “this is a great idea…but not for me”.
Was er gerne sehen wuerde:
“I’d like to see them go back to letting the talent talk on their own more, but I don’t think it will ever happen. A lot of promos these days are completely scripted. The hardest thing these poor guys have to do is learn a paragraph, or 2, or 3 of lines literally hours before they have to go out there. For an actor to get lines for a monologue, they usually are studying them days ahead of time. I would love to see guys start to create their own stuff like we had to because that’s when your real personality starts to come out. A lot of the things that I said back in those days were coming directly from me, pretty much everything actually. I think that would help some guys really get over.

Ich wuerde in beiden Faellen DDP Recht geben.
DDP WWF Debut und seine Fehde mit dem Undertaker war eines der schlechtesten Dinge die man damals machte konnte. DDP wurde gesquasht, er war ein Stalker, und er wurde gesquasht. Danach war sein Run versaut. Es ist eigentlich NUR DDP zu verdanken das er danach mit seinem neuen Gimmick over wurde bei den WWF Fans. Er hatte das Potential zu mehr.
Ausserdem spricht DDP mal wieder das an was schon so oft diskutiert wurde, Wrestler haben zu wenig Freiraum bei ihrem Gimmick und bei ihren Interviews.
