Vitor Belfort sagte nun erneut, dass er weiterkaempfen wird ausserhalb der UFC:

“I leave the UFC, but I will continue competing. The fight is my passion.”

Erwartet also Vitor wieder gedopt und Top Fit wenn er zum Beispiel in Japan oder bei Bellator antritt….

Zu seinen weiteren Plaenen:

“I have wanted to create the League of Legends, with athletes who have done a lot for the martial arts and today are devalued. Where’s Royce Gracie?”

Royce? Der geniesst wahrscheinlich sein Ruhestand weil er vielleicht denkt dass es eine bescheuerte Idee ist mit 50 Jahren noch aktiv MMA zu bestreiten….aber ist nur so ein tipp Vitor…

Und ein weiteres Vitor Belfort Update. Vitor`s Manager Gustavo Lacerda hat sich jetzt gauessert:

“Technically and physically, Vitor has full conditions to continue fighting. Of course, he has the hormonal deficiency everybody knows… But I think he lit up his fire again. We’ll go fight by fight. First, we’ll think about his fight with Nate Marquardt, and then we have more good things ahead.

What I think it’s possible to imagine is: what does the MMA fan wants? He wants to see Vitor vs. Wanderlei, wants to see Vitor vs. Sonnen. He wants these type of fights. And it’s the type of fights that interest us. Vitor doesn’t need to prove anything regarding to ranking or title. The idea is to have fights that are interesting. Interest the fans, and interest the fighter.

I’m particularly crazy to see Vitor vs. Wanderlei. It’s a fight I pay to see. There are fights people want to see, and those are the fights that are interesting. Where it will be, and how it will be, I can’t say anything right now. But they might happen.”

Zusammen gefasst:

Aldo vs Holloway war ein guter Fight. Aldo dominierte die erste Runde, die zweite Runde gewann er auch, bevor Holloway den Fight drehte und ihn ausknockte in der dritten Runde. Ich denke das war eine Kombination aus: Luft ausgegangen, Kinn ist nicht mehr das was es war, keine optimale Taktik (Aldo hat kaum Leg Kicks gezeigt), Aldo hat etwas nachgelassen und Aldo hat Schwierigkeiten gegen Gegner die Groesser sind als er. Holloway dagegen hat noch nicht Mal seine Beste Leistung gezeigt. Ich glaube Edgar koennte vom Stil her ein schwierigerer Gegner werden.

Moraes hatte kein gutes UFC Debut, da sieht man wieder wie duenn die Luft in der BW Division ist. Assuncao sollte nur noch 1-2 Fights von einem Titlefight entfernt sein.

Marquardt gewann eigentlich den schlechten Fight (2-1 Runden) gegen Belfort, aber Belfort gewann eine home bullshit Decision in Brasilien. Aber okay, da gab es schon weitaus schlimmere bullshit decisions.

Vitor der zuvor sagte, dass er seine Karriere ausserhalb der UFC fortsetzen wird, sagte nun, das er moeglicherweise doch bei der UFC weiter macht:

“I’ll be okay if this is my last fight, but it feels more like a new beginning. I feel this can be the beginning of more fights in the UFC.

The UFC has always been great to me, and I love them. There are new owners of the UFC, and I think I can help a lot. I heard they have a new, great office in Las Vegas. I am a businessman. I think I can be a great way to communicate between the organization and fighters.
