Hier das Update von Dave Meltzer zu der Jeff Jarrett Situation in Alberta:

"What happened was Jarrett was to work shows in Calgary and Edmonton this weekend for Real Canadian Wrestling (we had mistakenly called it River City Wrestling yesterday as our first report just came in as RCW). He showed up in Calgary, in no condition to perform although he did do a match and it was said to be similar to his performance at TripleMania. The promoter said he didn't know Jarrett was in such bad shape until the match started but others there said that couldn't be the case because it was clear backstage. He told the promotion that he was held at customs and was told he had to return the next morning and would have to miss Edmonton. The promotion later found out that Jarrett rebooked his flight from Sunday morning to Saturday morning and left before the Saturday night show in Edmonton. The promotion said that Jarrett boarded a plane and left the country on his own accord Sunday morning and later said Jarrett "chose to leave the country due to his own issues."

Jeff Jarrett soll nun einer Reha Einrichtung sein um seine Alkoholsucht in den Griff zu bekommen. Es wird zudem berichtet, dass WWE das ganze bezahlen soll, wie sie es u.a. auch schon bei Sunny, Chyna und Marty Jannetty getan haben.

James Ellsworth fordert den NWA World Heavyweight Champion heraus….also in den letzten 25 Jahren gab es viel Bullshit um den einst prestigetraechtigsten Title im Pro Wrestling, der dazu gefuehrt hat, dass dieser Title null Wert mehr hat. James Ellsworth als Contender ist sicher nicht in den Top 10 davon, was bezeichnend ist, aber nah dran.

Ricky Steamboat (65 Jahre)bestritt am Samstag fuer die AIW in Ohio ein Match gegen The Duke und gewann es. Bei der Show trat auch Dan Severn (59 Jahre) auf.

Der ehemalige TNA Wrestler Chase Stevens hat den ehemaligen WWE und TNA Wrestler Brian Christopher in einem Hotelzimmer uebel zusammen geschlagen, und wurde daraufhin verhaftet.

Jeff Jarrett sagte, dass er weiterhin an Global Force Wrestling arbeitet:

“Global Force Wrestling is something that right now I have two projects, some smaller ones here and there with all kinds of different stuff. If you were to ask me what am I working on, it’s international projects. I believe, especially over my experience over the last few years, is that international is where the business is at. In North America … you have an enormous standard-bearer in the USA Network and RAW three hours on Monday and SmackDown two hours and then of course everything else that goes with the brand. So it’s tough, I’d be the first to tell you that. And Ring of Honor with Sinclair. So international is what I’m working on, and yes those were some great tapings, but a promotion is more than a television show. It’s obviously live events, merchandise and licensing, and the big component is, you can call it digital, but nowadays you the term is streaming. What’s the platform you’re gonna be on? How are you gonna get it to market? How are you gonna market it? And what is gonna set you apart? So those are the kinds of things we’re working on in the international scene.”
