Zur Diskussion hier: Ich finde es ist vollkommen in Ordnung im Vorfeld etwas zu kritisieren, und zu sagen das es nicht funktioniert. Genauso ist es in Ordnung das man sich auf etwas freut und die Erwartung hat das es funktioniert. Unterschiedliche Meinung eben. Es wird halt immer unterschiedliche Ansichten geben zwischen den Usern die WWE toll finden und den Usern die hoehere Erwartungen haben.
Was die Instant Replay Regel betrifft. Wenn WWE das nur bei einer Storyline macht, dann die Frage wieso nicht bei allen Matches? Was ist der Grund? Ergibt keinen Sinn das nur bei einer SL oder wenigen Matches zu machen. Man muss Konstant und Konsequent sein, ansonsten macht es kein Sinn. Und wie wir alle wissen ist WWE weder Konstant noch Konsequent mit Regeln. Daher wird es nicht funktionieren. James Beard (Jahrzehntelanger Referee, auch bei WWE) hat es ganz gut ausgedrueckt, daher zitiere ich ihn mal:

Sehe ich genauso wie James Beard. Wenn man es Konstant macht bei allen Matches kann es funktionieren, aber dann beraubt man sich viele Moeglichkeiten. Wenn man es Unkonstant macht ist es Bogus und es wird nicht funktionieren.
Ansonsten mal was anderes, in dem Video oben ist mir folgendes aufgefallen. An der Stelle wo Steinbrenner sagt man solle sie feuern wenn sie einen Fehler machen und Vince entruestet fragt:“Feuern...das sie ihren Job verlieren?“ musste ich lachen. 7 Jahre spaeter hat er daraus einen Mr. McMahon Charackterzug gemacht “You`re Fired!“. Kann mir durchaus vorstellen das er das von hier hatte.

Things like this are always at odds with traditional booking. You've had referees, wrestlers or other officials come out after a match and stooge off something and the referee in charge would change the decision based on that third party information. So, what's the difference in that and using a video replay? If someone who's not involved in a match can cause a reversal, then creating a new rule or working a storyline as if it were a new approach isn't going to break any new ground? Creating an angle for it makes little sense.
I've never liked this sort of thing because in the end it will either be totally shelved or be inconsistent with a logical process. The powers that be simply do not have the patience and consistency to carry something like this through and make it logical.
My stance has always been; If I don't see it, it didn't happen. That's one of the basic tools for wrestlers to get their heat. There may be a way to take some specific things out of the referee's hands, but without judgement calls and the opportunity to miss certain things, you lose a big tool in the way matches are worked.
How far do you take it? Can a referee look at a replay for a guy cheating to win and then reverse the decision? If so, you lose a lot of options on finishes.
If I had to bet, unless they really think this through, I'd say they will end up burying more referees than creating such an angle would be worth.
