UFC Bantamweight Champion TJ Dillashaw will am liebsten dieses Jahr auf UFC Featherweight Champion Jose Aldo treffen. Grund: Er glaubt das er niemanden in seiner Division hat auf den er treffen kann. “Now would be the time, because I don’t have anyone to fight. I wanted that Cruz fight so bad; I feel like it’s something the fans wanted and I wanted, and it was something to put a stamp on my championship, but maybe again, I have to train for my third Barao fight. I don’t think he deserves a title shot, but he might be the only one in line.”

Nach dem Dominic Cruz und Rafael Assuncao beide mit schweren Verletzungen pausieren muessen, hat Dillashaw aktuell nur Renan Barao mit einem Refight, auf den er nicht treffen will, und seinen Teamkollegen Urijah Faber, auf den er auch nicht treffen will.

Dillashaw hofft jedenfalls das McGregor verliert und Aldo ohne Contender da steht…wobei es ja eigentlich bessere Contender wie McGregor gibt, aber das ignorieren wir mal:“I know they want to give him McGregor, so I’m going to keep my fingers crossed that McGregor loses to Siver. I don’t see how it’s going to happen, but if that happens, hopefully I can call out Aldo. That’d be so sweet to be the first one to hold two belts at the same time.”
