Colin, we gave you chance after chance and you blew it. You're used up. I can list what you've done for us in three lines.

1.) You got us our own locker room.

2.) You got CHIKARA to play our theme music.

Oh! .. and most importantly,

3.) You cost us the King of Trios, two years in a row.

And Jimmy. Aw, Jimmy. This is your big moment, isn't it? Back together with big brother. This must be exactly how you envisioned it. What a dream come true! You get more pathetic by the month, Olsen. You rode the coat-tails of Equinox - a legend I carved out for myself before you stole it - as long as you could before that legacy proved more than you could handle.

What else is there really to say to you that hasn't before? You've beaten me, I've DESTROYED you.

Well Dieter...I don't know what to say. This offer of yours is...dare I say...uncharacteristic of you? Regardless, I gladly accept. I'll have a card put together for our final Easton event of the Season right away. I think you might be going overboard thinking the card will be a flop, but I guess we'll see, right?

I'm sure if some of the interoffice memos going around are any indication, there's a growing segment of our fanbase that feels like the Director isn't delivering much on the Fun front. So, I guess it makes the most sense to create a card with that in mind.

Y'know, I have to give the devil his due (sorry Dieter, that would be you) - but I can't say I ever attracted corporate investors to CHIKARA. In fact, there's talk going around about a company buy-out. That's amazing stuff, if you look back where we were when I first became Director. And no, I don't have attendance figures on my resume to rival yours, but I did come up with some pretty popular concepts. King of Trios, anyone? How about the Global Gauntlet - our best selling title among overseas customers? How about the Golden Dream matches that spotlighted the legacy of the Young Lions Cup?

I understand the provision that I cannot make any title matches for the card in Easton. Maybe some would see that as you trying to handicap the potential popularity or drawing power of the event. Well, not me. I couldn't imagine someone with such an obvious affinity for the BDK giving that kind of power to someone else. And it doesn't bother me. The month of November reminds me of crowding around the TV set after Thanksgiving dinner with my family, and watching giant 8-man elimination tag matches on pay-per-view. I miss those. And when I think about what CHIKARA's been missing this season...well, it will be really easy for me to put a card on paper for you, Dieter.

CHIKARA hat bisher nur die Live-Events einmal im Monat von denen DVDs erscheinen. Dazu gibt es einmal die Woche diesen Podcast, der Ausschnitte vergangener Events (3 Monate zurück mein ich, edit: es sind 5 Monate) zeigt..

..vielleicht wagt ja auch CHIKARA den Schritt zu GoFightLive und macht den iPPV-Trend mit.. wär cool.


und ja, Tag Wrestling Deluxe.. schau dir mal paar Seiten zurück die Podcasts zum King of Trios Event an.. Klasse Kombinationen und Triple-Team Aktionen.. sehr geil... ich weiß nicht wie aktuell die YouTube-Fraktion ist.. aber ein paar Sachen findet man da auch.

I have sooo many issues with your "Vlog" (thats a Vin Blog, its like a video blog, but wayyyyy more lame) I don't even know where to start. Let's just start from the top!

Everyone has heard by now, and Everyone IS happy! Everyone IS excited! and just like Stella, Jimmy DID get his groove back. Well, everyone but you is happy, and you're not happy because you lost the only thing that made your group credible. Also, you're prolly the only one not excited, because on October 24th, you're the one who has to step in the ring with the reunited and reinvigorated Olsen Twins. Oh! and did I mention...Jimmy got his groove back.

Thats really the last thing I remember you doing. After that, it was me who got you guys a locker room, it was me who got us theme music, and it was me who got you out of the gutter and into the spotlight. Basically Vin, without me, there would have been no King of Trios to lose, becuase you would still be in the dumpster I pulled you out of.

HAHAHAHAHAHA!...HAHAHAHA! Did you really just call Equinox "a legend you carved out for yourself"? AHHHHHHHHHAHAHAHA! Oh man, that's rich. Do you remember when you were Equinox? Did you ever even win a match? Oh jeez, and "Legacy more than he could handle"? He prolly just wanted to take it off before it started to smell as bad as you do. The fact is, Jimmy did more with that mask than you ever did. Remember when Equinox was Young Lions Cup champion? That was when my brother was under the hood. When you were under that mask, you probably would have knocked yourself unconscious trying to advance through the opening round!

20.10.2010 - Icarus

A few weeks back I received a message that someone was trying to get the band back together - the originals, the Allentown boys. A message that made attempts to tug at heart strings of nostalgia, the good ol' days, and putting differences aside for a greater cause. I immediately deleted this message. Why would I stand up for the legacy of the men who have taken my mask, my hair, my Campeonatos de Parejas, the Young Lions Cup I was destined to win, and so much more? Why would I fight alongside men who have been nothing but thorns in my side for the past 9 years?

Then it dawned on me what my friend Mr. Michaels was trying to say all these years - every rose does have a thorn. In this case I have 7 thorns to contend with. The BDK have been able to maintain a strong grasp on the Campeonatos by utilizing their numbers to their advantage. For one night I get that same advantage. An opportunity had been presented to me to use numbers against the men who hold the coveted titles, to chip away the facade that they are indestructible and bring about a method of taking back the titles...not necessarily for CHIKARA, so much as for me. The enemy of my enemy is not always my friend, but sometimes a very convenient means to an end.

When all the dust has settled from the Cibernetico there will still be some work to do (like getting those three points to challenge for the belts.) So the very next day in Hamden, CT, I'll pick up that first point by defeating a man I have to team with in Easton. What a better way to start a run for the Campeonatos de Parejas then to crush a man who had a hand (and/or pumpkin) in costing me my mask, a man who cost me the Campeonatos, a man who...a very long time ago...looked to the corner to find me as his tag team partner in the days of The Night Shift. In just a short period of time, after the three points have been earned and an epic battle has been waged for the belts, it will be joyous knowing that it all started with the defeat of you, Hallowicked, and your little spaz of a sidekick.

The batting order in a Cibernetico can be a funny thing. Generally, you can trust the man at your back to be there for a tag or to not punch you in the throat just to get an edge 24 hours later. This year however, things will be very different. Your enemy may not be across the ring from you, but standing shoulder to shoulder with you, plotting, waiting for the opportunity to strike just to get an advantage for their own sake. I've already won a Cibernetico. I know what it takes. How many of you can say the same? How many of you can really play the game at the same level I do?


Well "teammates," I look forward to seeing you on the 23rd.

Allo, Allo CHIKARMY! It has been some time now since I have been given the honor to compete in front of you great fans. Sure, I have got pro wrestling’s version of the “Green Monster” waiting patiently to attempt to knock the laces right off of my face. But am I worried, shall I fret, will I turn yellow? The answer to all three is: Certainly Not!

During my time on the disabled list, I spent many hours toiling in front of the reel-to-reel, learning from wrestling heroes past. With my ankle in the shape it was, I decided it best to work on the mental aspect of my game. I studied diligently, day after day, reel after reel, and this Saturday in Easton the reward for my hard work will, indeed, pay off.

Brodie, I have seen the path of destruction you have been leaving in your shadow since you’ve arrived in CHIKARA, and especially as of late. In fact, I have also seen what you did to that handsome Breakfast fellow a few years back, and if you think for one second that I will suffer the same fate, then you are sadly mistaken, mate.

So, Mr. Lee, while you are making that difficult journey on the long, lonely road to Easton, I want you to think very hard about our upcoming contest. I understand to compete with a man of your stature, I must be willing to risk life and limb. When I step up to the on-deck circle, and take my practice swings, I will be preparing myself for a challenge the heights of no other. If I am knocked down, I know I can count on the Easton faithful to rally behind me and bring me to my feet. Brodie I ask you, who is going to help you up when I knock you off your feet? Boy-o, I believe it is you who should worry, perhaps it is you who should fret a wee bit, but please don’t turn yellow and hightail it out of town. This Saturday boy-o, I’m looking for a scrum.

Perhaps it's time I tried to change my luck.

After a number of "1st Curse" related issues, the punctuation being the loss to Christian Abel in the 1st round of CHIKARA's Young Lions Cup VIII; I've decided that the land of Lucky Charms could cure what ails me.

No, I'm not talking about Las Vegas.

Or Wonkaland. I'm chocolate enough already.

I'm talking about Ireland. The land of leprechauns, pots of gold, and often imitated, never duplicated accents. Lets face it - luck has been dodging me like politicians dodge serious questions. I need this. Roaming the Emerald Isle long enough is bound to get me connected with whatever spark your boy needs to get back on the winning track. You don't get rewarded with game time when you can't post points. So in the case of this ring hustle, they're gonna make me ride the bench until I show them I'm worthy to get off it. 3 second tans in the 1st round don't exactly do the trick.

Worst of all, when I suffer, Dasher suffers. We're a unit. A duo. A partnership of ebony and ivory proportions in the league of Danny Glover and Mel Gibson. Gene Wilder and Clevon Little. Eddie Murphy and (insert popular Caucasian actor from 80s-90s here). My failures shouldn't affect his chance to succeed and vice-versa. So after speaking to our "esteemed" boss man, I've convinced him to allow me to tour with Irish Whip Wrestling for a 10-day span (October 22nd - November 1st!) In the meantime, I've asked him to stop benching Dasher. The King of Swing has been longing to knock some suckas out the park and I say - let him! And it looks like he's lined up his share of challenges ahead. Good luck with Brodie, bro - I think you're gonna need it.

When I get back, I expect to have my head in the game and represent like a Celtic. The powers of The Throwbacks will combine once more and the doubts, insecurities, and frustrations will be no more. All that stands will be victory and more importantly...certainty. The landscape of CHIKARA is vast with talent. The best you'll find anywhere. But I want something greater than luck, skill, or passion for our team. With certainty, there is no denying what we can accomplish. No Option B. How can you stop a team that is as certain to win as the sun rises?

Simple. You can't.

So, to my brohams and foxy mamas across the CHIKARA-land, I'm leaving on a jet plane but I promise I WILL be back again. As to you Dasher, try not to get in TOO much trouble while I'm gone...?
