Sehr geil, der saß ja quasi nur 2 Reihen vor dir!

Das war echt der Hammer. Was der Typ die ganze Zeit gelabert hat war super geil! Hätten wir auf der anderen Seite gesessen hätten wir das ja gar ncihts mitbekommen ;)
Hab leider kein Bild davon, wie er beim Main Event reingestürmt kommt und sich direkt an mir vorbei den Weg zum Ring freimacht X(

- Davey Richards, sowie Eddie Edwards gingen mit einigen Blessuren, sowie Dehydratation aus dem Main Event "Final Battles", trugen jedoch keine ernste Verletzung davon. Im Gegensatz zu Rhett Titus, der sich nun in einer noch schlimmeren Kondition befindet als vor "Final Battle", bald wird mehr zu seinem Status bekanntgegeben. Außerdem scheint auch El Generico für eine längere Zeit Außergefecht zu sein, nach dem ihm Kevin Steen einen Package Piledrive durch einen Tisch verpasste.

- "That Young Knockout Kid" Chris Hero war derjenige der sich am vergangen Freitag als Gegner von Roderick Strong herausstellte und somit sein Comeback gab. Trotz seiner unglücklichen Niederlagen geben Offizielle ihr bestes um ein weiteren Auftritt Heros bei einem Live Event von ROH zu booken.

- ROH Offizielle hatten die Bravado Brothers gewarnt, dass diese besser nicht ihr nächstes Match verlieren sollten, doch bei Final Battle kam es soweit. Nun werden Lance & Harlem Bravado sich kurzfristig von Ring of Honor trennen und die Zeit für ein 3-monatiges Trainingscamp bei NOAH nutzen! Alle wünschen den Beiden viel Erfolg bei dieser tollen Chance!

- Ring of Honor wird zum Manhatten Center zurückkehren um dort am 4. März 2012 den "10th Anniversary" auszutragen.

- Die Offiziellen sind unzufrieden, dass bei "Final Battle" bei vielen Leuten der Respekt für die Regeln gefehlt habe, da sie zu illegalen Mitteln gegriffen haben.

- Die ROH Year End Awards sind online, an welchen ihr unter diesem Link teilnehmen könnt: ROH Year End Awards. Folgende Kategorien stehen zur Auswahl: Wrestler of the Year, Tag Team of the Year, Breakout Star, Feud of the Year, Live Event of the Year & Match of the Year.

- Es gab ein Meeting der Offiziellen bei welchen man über alle 3 Titel gesprochen hat, welche Contender es gibt und wann die Matches im neuen Jahr stattfinden sollen. Vorerst hatte man geplant am 20. Januar in Philadelphia "Unbreakable" Michael Elgin seinen beim "Survival of the Fittest" gewonnen World Title Spot einsetzen zu lassen, allerdings wurde dies von seinem Manager Truth Martini verhindert. Stattdessen wird nun ROH World TV Champion Jay Lethal, der sich bei "Southern Defiance" im Honor Rumble ein Match um den World Title verdient hat, in einem ROH World Championship Match auf Davey Richards treffen. Außerdem hat man auch den Status von Roderick Strong und Eddie Edwards besprochen, wobei man sich einig war, dass beide noch mehrere Siege benötigen um sich ein weiteres World Title Match zu verdienen.

- Der ROH World TV Championship wird ab sofort nur noch bei TV Tapings oder iPPVs ausgetragen. Was vorher noch eine ungeschriebene Regel war, wurde nun offiziell festgehalten. Somit wird der Titel nicht mehr bei ROH Live Events die nur für die DVD Produktion gedacht sind ausgetragen. Demnächst plant man Roderick Strong die Chance auf den ROH World TV Championship zu geben, da er in einem Proving Ground Match gegen Jay Lethal bei "Glory by Honor X" einen Timit Limit Draw erreichte.

- Wo wir gerade von Proving Ground sprechen: Der All Night Express hat sich bei der Ausgabe vom 10.12.2011 eine Chance auf die ROH World Tag Team Titles verdient, da sie damals noch aktuellen Champions Wrestlings Greatest besiegt haben. Die Briscoes würden den Beiden die Chance auf das Gold gewähren, allerdings muss dieses großartige Matchup verschoben werden, da Rhett Titus unter einem gerissenen Meniskus leidet.

- Auch auf die Young Bucks wartet in Zukunft ein ROH World Tag Team Championship Match, welches sich die Beiden bei "Final Battle" in einem 5 Tag Teams Gauntlet Match verdient hatten.

- Kevin Steen hat einen neuen Vertrag mit Ring of Honor unterschrieben und ist somit auch für alle Januar Events gebookt.

- Beim ersten "Ring of Honor Wrestling" TV Taping im Jahr 2012 werden die neuen ROH World Tag Team Champions The Briscoes in einem Grudge Tag Team Match auf das House of Truth bestehend aus Michael Elgin & Roderick Strong treffen.

Not in your normal David Copperfield-way, but in the pro-wrestling way.
If you are reading this on WorldOfCORINO.com, there is a 99.9999999% chance you know that professional wrestling is simulated violence. A fighting illusion. A live action play filled with drama, comedy, characters, danger, and athleticism.

In April of 2012, I will celebrate my 18th year in this industry that I have loved since I first started watching in 1981. In 18 years I have had 7 documented concussions and probably at least 7 more undocumented concussions.

I am NOT proud of any of them.

I have scars on my face, arms, and chest that will remain there forever. Battle scars. I've suffered a broken jaw, three broken teeth, my hearing in my left ear taking away, compressed vertebrate in my neck, separated shoulder, separated AC joint in the other shoulder, a fractured elbow, fractured vertebrate in my lower back, and I think my right hip is degenerating.
Damn, I wish this wrestling was 100% fake.
Unprotected chairshots have become taboo in the wacky world of pro-wrestling. And for good reason. The advances in concussion education has shown what combat sports, including pro-wrestling, can do to the brain. Its scary.
But chair shots can't take all the blame. There are kicks, bumps, clotheslines, etc that can jolt the skull.
The Balls Mahoney chair shots that I took in ECW were stupid. I was a kid trying to make a name for myself. I tried to be tough. It was so dumb and naive. I urge you to listen to this weeks Extreme Odd Couple Podcast
and I go into this subject more in depth.

Fast forward to last Friday. Ring Of Honor's Final Battle 2011. I'm in the fight of my career vs. Kevin Steen. Each of us took a shot each to the head with a chair. But neither of us got a concussion. Why? How? Magic?

Kind of.

As much as I, along with Steen and I'm sure the Briscoes, wanted to put on a great match and show our toughness, there was no way we were going to put ourselves in danger. Without exposing the whole process, adjustments were made to make things safer.
Could things have gone wrong? Of course. But they would have been accidents, not irresponsibility that myself and others displayed in ECW (and other companies).
My match was brutal. There were chairs, tables, trash cans, and a rail. Looked dangerous. It could have been. But we are professionals. I think what we did more then anything was build drama. The story was so good going in. The suspension of disbelief was higher Friday then I have felt since the Chicago Street Fight in 2010.

The most painful thing that I took at Final Battle was when I hit the post with my shoulder in the first minute of the match. It was a miscalculation on my part. I thought I had one step left and I ended up eating the post. My fault.

Pro-Wrestling and Sports Entertainment can be dangerous. It is dangerous. People get hurt everyday. But you also need to know that most of us, with what we know now about head injuries, can modify the dangerous elements.
Pro-Wrestling is Magic and when done right you should believe what you are seeing is real.

In NO way am I going to justify unprotected chair shots. If you are a wrestler and are not taking precautions before that shot, then you need to. Anything that causes damage to your brain needs to be modified. You owe to yourself, your family, and your fans.

LOOK dangerous. Don't BE dangerous. Be a magician.

To the fans that were upset and are upset, thank you. Thank you for caring enough to express your concern. As a guy that has always felt unappreciated, it is nice to know people care. There are times when wrestlers feel like the fans could give two craps about their health.

I don't want to see any more premature deaths in this industry and I also think the fans are sick of it.

Most of us hate to admit it but Pro-Wrestling IS Sports Entertainment. We are athletes, actors, stunt men, travel secretaries, and more. Being a Pro-Wrestler is a hard, but freaking awesome job. Its time we take care of ourselves.

If you see me do anything like I did at Final Battle, know that I know what I am doing and took every precaution to help the risk of injury minimize.

I am the proud father of a 15 year old son that I love with all my heart. He doesn't want to grow up without a dad or with a dad that is "bump drunk". No one does and I won't allow it.

- ROHwrestling.com hat nun den Main Event für die am 21. Januar 2012 in Norfolk, Virginia stattfindende Live Show verkündet. So wird das Team Richards, bestehend aus ROH World Champion Davey Richards und seinem Protege Kyle O'Reilly auf das House of Truth (Michael Elgin & Roderick Strong) treffen.
Strong kam während des Main Events bei "Final Battle" zwischen Davey Richards und "Die Hard" Eddie Edwards zum Ring, verhindert wurde ein Eingriff jedoch von Kyle O'Reilly, welcher zum Ring gerannt kam und Strong in einen Brawl verwickelte. Daraufhin mischte sich das gesamte House of Truth ein und auch Edwards Trainer Dan Severn war mit von der Partie. Letztendlich verlagerte der Brawl sich in den Backstage Bereich und der Main Event konnte ohne Unterbrechung fortgeführt werden.
Interessant ist ebenfalls, dass Michael Elgin sich seinen Shot auf den ROH World Championship beim "Survival of the Fittest" geholt hat in dem er Kyle O'Reilly besiegte. So werden auch diese beiden ein weiteres Mal aufeinandertreffen.

Nun wurde ein weiteres Match für das "Ring of Honor Wrestling" TV Taping angekündigt. So wird Kenny King, mit Rhett Titus in seiner Ecke, auf Matt Jackson, der von seinem Bruder Nick zum Ring begleitet wird, treffen. Es ist nur ein weiteres Kapitel, welches den Krieg zwischen dem All Night Express und den Young Bucks anheizen wird.
Die Bucks sind mit ihren Attacken bei "Northern Agression" und "Final Battle" für die Verletzung von Rhett Titus verantwortlich und so lange dieser nicht als Team mit Kenny King antreten wird, hat sich King vorgenommen die Bucks selbst auseinanderzunehmen.

Sollte Lethal ein weiteres Mal gegen Bennett gewinnen, wird dies vorerst Bennetts letzte Chance auf den ROH World TV Championship sein.
