Survivor Series will be just 10 days away when SmackDown! kicks off this Thursday night (8/7 CT on UPN). In a Survivor Series preview, Team Angle members Kurt Angle and Chris Benoit will face Team Lesnar members WWE Champion Brock Lesnar and U.S. Champion Big Show. Two weeks ago, Angle and Benoit came to blows, but last week they agreed that they’re unstoppable when they work together. The duo will get the ultimate test this week when they take on the WWE Champion and the 500-pounder.
Also on SmackDown!, Eddie Guerrero is hoping to get back on track as a win will put Los Guerreros back in the No. 1 contender’s spot for the WWE Tag Team Championship. The problem is that in order to get there, Eddie will have to beat the Basham Brothers in a Handicap Match, as ordered last week by new SmackDown! General Manager Paul Heyman. If Eddie can pull off the upset, Los Guerreros will get their crack at another championship reign.
The Paul Heyman era on SmackDown! has produced one surprising turn after another … and it has only been in existence for two weeks! What will happen next? Who will be the fifth member of Team Lesnar? Will Faarooq be able to compete for Team Angle? Will Mr. McMahon really have to face the Undertaker in a Buried Alive Match at Survivor Series? Only one way to find out … tune into SmackDown! this Thursday night at 8/7 CT on UPN.
FANS IN DALLAS: SmackDown! will not air at its normal time this week on KTXA. Catch it Thursday night beginning at 11 p.m.
Match:
KURT ANGLE & CHRIS BENOIT VS. BROCK LESNAR & THE BIG SHOW
