See No Evil Film Review!

Am Sonntag debutierte in Canada der erste WWE Film ueberhaupt “See No Evil“ mit [lexicon]Kane[/lexicon] (Glen Jacobs) in der Hauptrolle. WWE investierte in ihr erstes Filmprojekt $10 Millionen, der “Horror“ Film wird am 19 May in die Amerikanischen Kinos kommen, und wahrscheinlich ein PG 13 Rating bekommen. Hier schonmal ein Review des Films, wer sich den Film nicht gespoilert anschauen will, sollte nicht weiterlesen.

Die erste Szene des Films zeigt zwei Police Officer wie sie in ein Haus gehen, indem einige Kinder “Jesus Lives“ singen. Ploetzlich hoeren die Officer ein Maedchen schreien und ziehen ihre Waffe. Sie kommen in ein Zimmer indem sie das Maedchen sehen, ihre Augen sind aus ihrem Gesicht entfernt worden, und hier sieht man zum erstenmal Jacob Goodnight ([lexicon]Kane[/lexicon]) im Film. Er zieht seine Axt und toetet einen der Officer, dem anderen Officer hackt er den Arm ab, doch der Officer schafft es gerade noch Jacob in den Kopf zuschiessen. Der Officer ueberlebt, jedoch wird die Leiche von Jacob Goodnight nie gefunden.....

Dann macht der Film einen 4 jaehrigen Zeitsprung, man sieht 8 Teenager (4 Maedchen und 4 Jungs) die aus irgendwelchen Gruenden im Gefaengniss gelandet sind. Die 4 Maedchen und 4 Jungs arbeiten zusammen fuer einen Wohltaetigen Zweck, damit sie frueher aus dem Gefaengniss entlassen werden. Die 4 Jungs stehen unter der Aufsicht des einarmigen Police Officers aus der Anfangsszene. Alle 8 Teenager sind natuerlich gut aussehend und Stereotyphischer wie sie nicht sein koennten, es gibt die typische Blondine, denn coolen Jungen den jeder mag aber irgendwelche Probleme hat, den Afro Amerikanischen Schwarzen usw. Ausserdem hatte einer der Jungs eine Beziehung mit einer der Maedchen, sodass man auch noch die Beziehungsstory im Film mit drin hat.

Die 8 Jugendlichen und Aufseher kommen dann im “9 Floor Hotel“ an, ein heruntergekommenes Gebaeude das in den 70er Jahren abgebrannt ist und den Eigentuemer und seine Familie umbrachte. Die 8 Jugendlichen sollen nun das Hotel wieder soweit renovieren das man es wieder eroeffnen kann. Da gibt es nur ein Problem, Jacob Goodnight lebt indem herunter gekommenen Haus, und toetet jeden der ihm zunahe kommt. Goodnight toetet seine Opfer mit einem Harke und Kette, er entfernt allen seinen Opfer die Augen sodass sie nichtmehr das Boese sehen koennen (“See no Evil“).

Der Film erklaert die Mordslust von Jacob Goodnight so, das seine Mutter (natuerlich tief Religioes), ihn immer hart bestrafte wenn er Sex mit einer Frau hatte oder Masturbierte. Zu den Strafen der Mutter gehoerte unter anderem das Jacob in einen Kaefig gesperrt wurde. Nach vielen Jahren der Bestrafung, redete die Mutter ihm ein das er das richtige tut wenn er alle Suender (in Form von Sex) umbringt. Die Idee zum Augenausreissen kam Jacob daher das seine Mutter einmal ihn mit einem Maedchen erwischte. Sie riss daraufhin dem Maedchen die Augen aus, um Jacob zuzeigen das das Boese in den Augen ist. Doch Jacob Goodnight ist nicht ein Psychokiller der alle Frauen/Maedchen umbringt und ihnen die Augen ausreisst. Nein er zweifelt an den Ansichten seiner Mutter. Zum Beispiel hat er ein Herz fuer Frauen mit Tattoo`s, denn diese Frauen sieht er als Rebellisch an was er respektiert. Sie toetet er dann nicht, sondern steckt sie in einen Kaefig, wie seine Mutter es mit ihm in seiner Kindheit tat.

Und ihr koennt es ahnen, es kommt zum Showdown zwischen Jacob und seiner Mutter, und der “kleine“ Jacob muss sich entscheiden ob er weiterhin der Killer seiner Mutter sein will, oder nicht. Wie der Film dann ausgeht, das muesst ihr dann schon selber sehen.

Fazit:
Der Film dauert 80 Minuten, was normal im “Horror“ Genre ist. Der Film ist jedoch kein typischer Horrorfilm, auch wenn er an manchen stellen an die Low Budget Hotel Version vom Texas Chainsaw Massacre erinnert. Auch wenn der Film sich “Brutal“ anhoeren mag, so hat er keinerlei grossen Blutszenen, noch gibt es viele Special Effects. Der Film bekam von den Zuschauern mehr lacher als schreie im Kino. Gerade wenn man den [lexicon]Kane[/lexicon] Charackter aus der WWE kennt, wird man nicht umher kommen einige Witze ueber manche Szenen zumachen. [lexicon]Kane[/lexicon] selbst hat als Jacob Goodnight gerademal 4 (!) Worte im gesamten Film die er spricht, aber das macht auch nichts denn er ist ja ohnehin die meiste Zeit damit beschaeftigt irgendwelche Teenager mit seiner Axt zu erschlagen. Insgesamt sollte man vondem Film nicht viel erwarten, er ist der typische B “Horror“ Film. Fuer [lexicon]Kane[/lexicon] Fans aus der WWE die ihn mal in einem Film anschauen wollen, ist der Film sicherlich zu empfehlen, fuer alle anderen wird es bessere B Horror Filme geben in diesem Jahr.

Das mit dem lustig sein erinnert mich an "Hide & Seek" mit Robert De Niro. Da hab ich auch mehr gelacht als alles andere.

Werd ich mir sicher nicht anschauen, alleine deswegen, da der Film in Deutschland wohl garnicht erscheinen wird.

See No Evil Review by Dr. Keith Lipinski

(Authors note: There are spoilers aplenty in this review. I'm doing this as a public service for you, the great professional wrestling fan. I will spoil this movie rotten for you. My only fear is while reading this review telling you how awful See No Evil was, you will actually acquire the desire to actually see it now.)

I can summarize the plot of this film in ten words: "masturbating [lexicon]Kane[/lexicon] kills kids because of evil lust and mommy." Sadly, it's quite that simple. WWE Films first official film is a stinker to quite possibly lower all expectations of any future WWE Films. Simply put See No Evil is to horror, what No Holds Barred is to drama. It's 70-75 minute celebration of gore, shaky camera shots and horror movie clichés. There are no moments of high drama or scary moments in See No Evil. However, during the theatre I saw the movie at on Thursday night (60% full), and there were plenty of moments of high laughter. Even more telling was the WWE Films logo. As the movie started and the logo was shown to the crowd, for some reason, this made people laugh.

The movie [lexicon]stars[/lexicon] the monster [lexicon]Kane[/lexicon], playing a psycho. Yes, a big time ACTING~! stretch from the character who once spoke from a voice box, once had a burnt penis, and used to date Terri Runnels. Sadly, if you go into See No Evil expecting the white tuxedoed [lexicon]Kane[/lexicon] from his torrid affair/wedding with Lita, or [lexicon]Kane[/lexicon]'s lovely smile, you will be greatly disappointed.

The first line of dialogue in the movie “This is police” doesn’t even make sense and was possibly a warning about the rest of the movie. You see two cops enter a house; they hear sinister kid's music, see lots of crosses, and bloody handprints. In a room, they find a girl wearing a white nightgown, sporting several Cross tattoos, and trembling. They also find [lexicon]Kane[/lexicon] behind a white sheet with a large Ax, which he uses to slice open one of the cops in half (with some nice sounding special effects of [lexicon]Kane[/lexicon] axing someone) and chop the flashlight arm of another one. The other cop ends up shooting [lexicon]Kane[/lexicon] in the back of the head, as [lexicon]Kane[/lexicon] runs away we see the severed hand letting go of the flashlight. The audience chuckled. The cop goes to the trembling girl and finds out her eyes have been ripped out of her face. The camera goes thru the holes in her eyes, in an unneeded special effect. After seeing the eyes gone off of [lexicon]Kane[/lexicon]'s victim, I was wishing this movie was still under its original title of EYE SCREAM MAN~!

Four years pass. The viewer only knows this because the "four years later" note on the screen. Loud hip hop plays, this happens several times during the film for no reason. Who knew [lexicon]Kane[/lexicon] was such a fan? Vince McMahon's name was credited on the screen as executive producer, and somehow the music gets heavenly very quickly. At a jail (and you can tell it’s a jail because of the razor wire close-ups) teens get round up on a bus. It seems this movie could be "Real World: Jail" or another awful reality show.

I have to note here, 10 minutes into the film the couple next to myself and Barlow left. I told Barlow “that’s so going in the review.”

Anyway, we are introduced to all of the characters. They're all young criminals who are in jail on a varied assortment of crimes. It's a group of decent looking young lads and ladies that would look at home at the "attractive crowd" of a WSX (Mtv Promotion) show. Seriously, these kids look like the united colors of Bennaton ads of the 1980s. There is a fight fight on the bus between two of the kid cons. Keep in mind during a FIGHT SCENE IN A WWE FILM, the viewer does not see ONE SINGLE PUNCH BEING THROWN. Yes, in an orginaztion which stages fake matches and fights everyday they can't do a do a good fight scene in this movie. The characters, who we never get to really know too much about to care, are total stereotypes. There is a lesbian couple featuring a girl named Kira and another one (who after research I uncovered as being named Christine), an male African American locksmith, a cute vegetarian girl, a white slut kleptomaniac blonde chick (who has condoms on her and the only reason I remember she's a clepto is when they introduced the characters with their rap sheets had the smallest one), a tough guy (who used to beat up one of the lesbians when they went out or he was her pimp, the movie doesn't really let us know fully), a computer nerd, and a mystery man. A sure sign of how great the characters and actors are in this movie is I can only name one character in this film. I couldn't even remember [lexicon]Kane[/lexicon]'s name in the film. Like it matters…

The film mostly takes place at “The Blackwell Hotel” which had a FIRE~! a long time ago. The white slut kleptomaniac blonde chick lets us know how bad this place is; ”This is ghetto!” She also informs us "I need drugs." Deep dialogue s*** folks. A sweet old lady runs the hotel and wants to turn it into a shelter for the homeless. The kid cons will clean up the hotel this weekend and get a month of off their sentences because of it. The tough guy (who used to beat up his girlfriend or pimp her out) tells the cop to “eat me” and mocks wanking off with his hand. The con kids laugh like they are auditioning for a sitcom. Unfortunally, this is not the only time we see a character masturbate in this film. As we look around the hotel, the viewer is treated to a closeup of cockroaches having sex. Director Gregg Dark, who has previous experience directing wrestlers in films (GLOW star Tiffany Million in New Wave Hookers 3) is used to shooting footage this sexual yet totally unsexy.

The con kids split up, the psudo-lesbians (who do not enjoy HLA but deep hugs instead) enjoy a smoke with the male cop who once shot [lexicon]Kane[/lexicon] in the head four years ago. This review would have been so much better if I could remember anyone's name. The lesbians ask "DO YOU THINK HE WHACKS OF WITH THAT THING?" And enjoy a girlish chuckle. If you are confused why I put this in the review, then you understand my confusion over this line in the film. Two of the kid cons, computer NERD and African American locksmith have a PLAN~! You see, there is a wonderful thing called the internet that the felons, while in jail, have complete access to. Somewhere in this old hotel there is a private stash (no, not Van Hammer). Somehow, the computer NERD found a MAP of the hotel online and think no-one knows of the stash. Even though THEY FOUND THE MAP ONLINE WHILE WEB SURFING IN PRISION. What the hell is going on here? More importantly what the hell is going on in our prisons?

The hotel is interesting, there are roaches all over, some rooms look like they've seen World War III, others look like there was never a fire or they haven't been clean since the heyday of the Grand Wizard. The male cop tells one of our heroines Christine about looking at her file, seeing she was right for doing what she did to get in there and knowing "she has potential." Christine replies back and asks why they didn't know about the abusive relationship between Kira and the Pimp (coming soon on the CW produced by Kevin Dunn). The cop doesn't know about this…yet knows about potential.

The kid cons enjoy a nice box lunch even though it seems they have done no work so far whatsoever. They are drinking a non-Hulk Hogan or Jimmy Hart energy drink, cause felons need the caffine. The cute vegetarian isn't happy she got a gas station meat sandwich. Seriously, this was odd, these kids are drinking a huge energy drink, have a nice box for their lunch but inside is a gas station sandwich. A stray dog wonders in, and the vegetarian fees her sandwich to the dog until the tough guy, throws his huge energy can at the dog. The dog disappears. Don't fret, it will be back! The kids talk about how they have some homemade aspirin. Someone call the Iron Sheik.

Twenty minutes later into this so-called horror film, we finally see ASS~! As Kira (who resembles Lita which would explain [lexicon]Kane[/lexicon]'s infatuation with her) is taking a shower. [lexicon]Kane[/lexicon] peeps, as we were informed earlier in the movie, the hotel is full of two way mirrors, secret rooms, and all sorts of clichés. [lexicon]Kane[/lexicon] admires the huge cross tattoo on her back. The tough guy comes in. Christine comes in and fights for her girl! Drama YAY! The felon kids split up, the Christine and Kira stay in the room, the nerds say they're staying in the room, the pimp says he will let them "smell his fingers" afterward. I bet Vince has always wanted to use that line on television. God bless the sweet R rating (although really other then one ass shot which you could see easily on Raw, there is no nudity in this film)!

The computer NERD and the African American locksmith use their online map and go to find the secret stash. On the way, they see a "will work for food" sign and the corpse of Rene Dupree, just kidding they find a homeless man in the hall without any eyes who's been dead a long time. I guess the hotel is already a homeless shelter and the movie should be over. Now. But that is not the case. RATS~! Somehow [lexicon]Kane[/lexicon] uses a chain with a huge HOOK and lassos up the computer NERD (who might run a pro wrestling website, take that evil internet) and takes him away. This is standard horror fare, not bloody and tries to hard to be suspenseful, but with the camera tricks borrowed from Saw, it’s a yawner. At one point, you want [lexicon]Kane[/lexicon] to kill everyone to end the movie early. Do you care he's a psycho? Not really. Its just [lexicon]Kane[/lexicon].

At the hotel bar, we find the two adult cops (the older female and male cop), drinking shots from a flask. The lady cop is wearing a wedding ring on her right hand. They talk about why it was on her right and if the guy was a good guy, when she decides to check upon the kids. She gets into the elevator, and makes the life changing decision to switch the ring to the other hand RIGHT NOW. She pushes for the 3rd floor but the elevator stops on the ninth floor. For some reasons non-Stacker II bees swarm her and [lexicon]Kane[/lexicon] appears to choke slam her. Yes, [lexicon]Kane[/lexicon] is stealing on the of the King Of Kings bees. [lexicon]Kane[/lexicon] also removes her eyes with his finger. It's slightly gory. Meanwhile, the lesbian couple wants to run away, Kira espically. She tries to escape thru a kitchen but slips on a spatula and is caught by [lexicon]Kane[/lexicon]. Yes, she was close to escape but she slipped on what appeared to be a fucking spatula. Why the other girl (Christine) didn't want to leave is never mentioned or understood, maybe it's her great potential! The old tough cop sees [lexicon]Kane[/lexicon] take the girl away and gives the other girl a tazer gun as they go looking for Kira.

Meanwhile, tough guy, a cute vegetarian, a white slut kleptomaniac blonde chick, and the mystery man find another room and enjoy their medicine. Cute vegetarian even shaves her legs before they meet up. Does this hotel have razors in the bathroom or something? Or did she get that from prison? Yes, even the girl who's a member of PETA and a vegetarian when it comes down to it is a slut. Good lesion for the girls going to see this movie (sarcasm on high)! Tough guy smashes around a room and grabs a lead pipe during some destruction, for protection.

The male cop, the psudo lesbian who didn't want to leave because of her potential (Christine) run into the African American locksmith. He tells them about the internet kid getting hauled off by [lexicon]Kane[/lexicon]. They walk around the dirty (not fire scorched) hall of one of the floors of the hotel. As the cop is giving a speech Christine, all of the sudden a hook swings down from the ceiling in a perfect throw to "hook" the copper right in the neck and pull him up. Yes, it was a one in the million shot and it worked. Gun shots are fired, but nothing happens. The cop gets gutted (his eyes from his face) and tossed back down. Revenge for [lexicon]Kane[/lexicon].

We hear some odd voices in [lexicon]Kane[/lexicon]'s head, they are not saying "May 19th" and we see his PSYCHO VISION. We find Kira who is in a small cage. Sadly its not the elimination chamber or the blue steel cage from the 1980s. [lexicon]Kane[/lexicon] looks into the cage and shifts back and forth, you see that he is TROUBLED~! You see his evil smile with his bad teeth and his one long finger nail. He bathes Kira, holding her up under a shower to wash her face or to drown her; we see clips of [lexicon]Kane[/lexicon] getting a shower as well. He goes for her eyes but keeps on admiring her back ink work and the huge cross. He allows her to live. Good for [lexicon]Kane[/lexicon].

As [lexicon]Kane[/lexicon] is leering at Kira, the wholesome veggie girl gives it up to the mystery man. However, there is a trap wire under the bed and a BELL RINGS~! in [lexicon]Kane[/lexicon]'s evil lab which has several jars of human eyes! [lexicon]Kane[/lexicon] appears in the room, being seen as the mystery man (who had the homemade aspirin as they would never search these felons right?) who finds the right time to tell the girl "Hey, this is a two way mirror." They run to another room, lock the door, and find a fire hose. The mystery man wraps the hose around the veggie girl and tries to lower her down the side of the hotel. Of coruse [lexicon]Kane[/lexicon], kills him quickly (we don't see it) and pulls her up, only to hear her cry and shreek, "let me go." The knot around her waste gets loose and she's dangling by her feet, like bungee jumping. Perhaps that was popular when this script was written in 1992. [lexicon]Kane[/lexicon] heeds to her words and lets her go. Even through they are on the ninth floor, she appears to fall 10,000 feet thru a lovely skylight, and cuts open her arm bad on the glass of the skylight. Her head hits the floor, and bounces back up a little. She's injured and dangling and a pool of blood is under her. The stray dog she tried to feed before comes to her, and starts drinking her blood pile. Suddenly there are about 7 dogs coming thru the dog hole and start eating her cut arm. The veggie girl gets eaten by the dogs. Isn’t that IRONIC~!

Meanwhile the tough guy/pimp and the white slut kleptomaniac blonde chick are talking after smoking up. “You know when I said before you could do better? I didn’t mean this good!" The pimp got served! The white slut kleptomaniac blonde chick then has one of the better lines of dialogue in the film "I mean DO YOU EVEN HAVE A CAR?" Somehow a cell phone rings and white slut kleptomaniac blonde chick then answers it. Yes, she somehow got a cell into here. "What's up bitch?" Oh, it's her sister. Really! She at least explains she stole the phone off of the female prison guard. [lexicon]KANE[/lexicon] attacks again thru the bees, and the pimp uses the LEAD PIPE~! to the back of the head of [lexicon]Kane[/lexicon] where he was shot before. You see maggots fall out of the hole in [lexicon]Kane[/lexicon]'s head. I wonder if you hit the writer of this film in the back of the head with a lead pipe, would sawdust come out. As pimp fights with the monster [lexicon]Kane[/lexicon], the white slut kleptomaniac blonde chick goes into hiding in a fake wall. [lexicon]Kane[/lexicon] can't find her, but then… THE CELL PHONE RINGS. [lexicon]Kane[/lexicon] goes back, finds her, finds the phone, sees the name on the phone (which is now PROGRAMMED into the phone), and decides to feed the phone to the white slut kleptomaniac blonde chick who chokes to death on it.

[lexicon]Kane[/lexicon] goes back to Kira in the cage. You see flashbacks of [lexicon]Kane[/lexicon], as a young shavedhead boy in a very similar cage. You see roach flashbacks, and a trailer. You also see some pictures from the Sears catalog and a busty woman in a bra. You see young naked [lexicon]Kane[/lexicon] touching his genitals and a old woman yelling at him making him feel SHAME! Who needed to see this? Can you picture the pitch to Vince? "So we have a scene where a young naked [lexicon]Kane[/lexicon] is trembling in a cage while touching himself." Vince: "Fantastic, where's this casting couch I hear so much about?" Freaky, not scary. Meanwhile Christine and the African American locksmith find the secret stash. Which is a room where the safe has been opened and the money is stapled on the walls, and inside the room there are tons of jars of human eyes. The African American locksmith doesn't notice the eyes but notices the MONEY WALLPAPER.

[lexicon]Kane[/lexicon] meanwhile is in the next room, leering at Kira and palming himself. Yes, he uses his flat palm to touch himself as she is in the cage. [lexicon]Kane[/lexicon] does a good job of being creepy, but the movie is shot to be creepy. In this sense, they are successful in creeping the viewer out. [lexicon]Kane[/lexicon] hears glass break and goes into the other room where the African American locksmith is hiding behind the safe. [lexicon]Kane[/lexicon] goes to leave but he can now SMELL FEAR on African American locksmith, I guess the white slut kleptomaniac blonde chick was wearing perfume she got in prison to camouflage the scene of fear. African American locksmith attempts to tazer [lexicon]Kane[/lexicon], but [lexicon]Kane[/lexicon] grabs his arm and tazers him in the neck. And then smashes the African American locksmith with the safe up against the wall. Christine goes to Kira in the cage, but [lexicon]Kane[/lexicon] has the keys to the cage, so she attempts to CUT OPEN the lock with a knife.

Sweet old lady comes back in and wonders why Kira is still alive. [lexicon]Kane[/lexicon] comes from behind her as Christine hides. It appears much like the borthers of destruction back in the day, the sweet old lady and [lexicon]Kane[/lexicon] are in cahoots! The old lady tells Kira “My son ([lexicon]Kane[/lexicon]) is the hand of god” and tells [lexicon]Kane[/lexicon] to "Kill this Sinner." You see flashbacks and it in fact his mom yelling at naked masturbating [lexicon]Kane[/lexicon] in the cage. Old lady talks about her son being a judge and keeping the soul clean. The plan of bringing the con kids was a setup to get back at the cop who shot [lexicon]Kane[/lexicon] in the head. We see the mom try and wash the evil out of [lexicon]Kane[/lexicon]'s eyes back in the day. "Now, kill this whore. See the evil in her eyes!" We see more black and white clips of [lexicon]Kane[/lexicon] in the cage and then a teenage [lexicon]Kane[/lexicon] sitting on a chair, trembling, facing a wall as a woman (hooker) is tied up on his bed. Mom sees this and takes out her eye with her hand and tells him “see the evil" with all the conviction of the voice of the Skittles "taste the rainbow" commercials.

Finally [lexicon]Kane[/lexicon] says his first word in the film. "NO!" [lexicon]Kane[/lexicon] rebels, throws his mom into the wall, which somehow has metal spikes hanging out of it. Her head is impaled on a spike. [lexicon]Kane[/lexicon] grabs the girl saying "I see it" for no reason (yes, four words in total in this movie) and goes into another room. Christine grabs the cops gun (still on the table) and goes into another room. Somehow [lexicon]Kane[/lexicon] has a 1994 modern cd boom box with a kids song from earlier on in the film is playing. [lexicon]Kane[/lexicon] is sitting up on the bed in a bubba-ray Dudley orgasmic trance, holding Kira. The other girl comes close to [lexicon]Kane[/lexicon] and points the gun at Kanes eye. She goes to shoot; there are no bullets in the gun. [lexicon]Kane[/lexicon] wakes up from his trance, angry.

[lexicon]Kane[/lexicon] has both girls up from the chokeslam. Pipe guy comes back and hits [lexicon]Kane[/lexicon] again, he also uses [lexicon]Kane[/lexicon]'s ax on his leg. They go into another room, get him by the window, and use the lead pipe and a wooden chair to get him out of the window. He hands onto the ledge grabbing Christine's arm but they push him off, by jamming the pipe square into his eye as he fell down 9 floors (or 10,000 feet) with the pipe in his eye. He hits the side of the building, which is reminiscent of Homer Simpson falling down Springfield gorge with a Luke Skywalker like cowardly shriek. Tons of huge laughs for his death. [lexicon]Kane[/lexicon]’s head hits the greenhouse roof but the pipe is trapped. [lexicon]Kane[/lexicon]'s head detaches from the pipe and he hits the ground which also, believe it or not has spikes on the floor as well. What another odd place for spikes. We get a shot of the inside of his body as it fails him. [lexicon]Kane[/lexicon] is dead. The hungry dogs are no where to be found to eat his corpse, which would be more meat then the veggie girl. Kira sees all of this and spits out of the window. The girls in the lobby ask Pimp-tough guy why he came back “I didn’t’ want to walk out of here alone.” As the credits roll, you see the stray dog again coming back pissing in [lexicon]Kane[/lexicon]'s eye socket. End of film.

Overall, not the worst movie I have ever seen, but a poor start to the WWE Film franchise. The script is cliché, the acting is dreadful, and the [lexicon]Kane[/lexicon] masturbating is just troubling. [lexicon]Kane[/lexicon] is not a great actor in this movie, as he's done many things in the ring I have enjoyed (the Lita [lexicon]angle[/lexicon] stuff was quite good). I don't know who the director was appealing to with this film. It wasn't wrestling fans, maybe fans of horror movies, but a lot of this wasn't scary or horrorful, it was just horrid. A movie where [lexicon]Kane[/lexicon] has taken the eyes away from his victims and still lets them live to fight him or kill each other could have been an interesting movie. This is just a cookie cutter movie written by WWE writer Dan Madigan. At 70 minutes it thankfully runs quickly, but after leaving See No Evil, I wonder how many developmental guys were cut to make this and how much the WWE could lose by doing more movies. If they attempted to make [lexicon]Kane[/lexicon] a star by this movie, they failed, as he is a character in this movie, but the smaller kid playing young [lexicon]Kane[/lexicon] in the cage showed more emotion. Best not to See No Evil.

-See No Evil startete am ersten Tag mit Einnahmen von $1,65 Millionen, was etwa bei den Erwartungen liegt. Fuer das gesamte Wochenende geht man am Box Office von ca $4 Millionen aus. Im uebrigen wurde der Film mittlerweile von allen zerrissen, und war bei einigen sogar die Rede vom schlechtesten Film seit einigen Jahren. LOL

WWE hat den Director Gregory Dark von See No Evil als ehemaligen Musik Video Regisseur immer beworben. Doch nun wurde bekannt das Gregory Dark 13 Jahrelang Pornofilme drehte. Seine Highlights waren Black Throat, Dr. Penetration und White Bunbusters. Das erklaert dann auch einiges zur Qualitaet von See No Evil..... ;)
