Naja, wieder mal 10 € verspielt aber wenigstens Sweeney Todd hat einen Oscar bekommen

Wenn wir gerade dabei sind, was für einen Stellenwert hat der Oscar eigentlich für euch? Ich bin davon nicht so begeistert, in den letzten Jahren war er doch eher auf kommerz gesetzt.

Ich gebe gar nichts drauf... Entweder mir gefällt ein Film oder ein Schauspieler oder eben nicht. Da lass ich mich nicht von so einem Figürchen leiten.... ;)

An sich ist es mir auch egal, ob ein Film einen Oscar gewinnt oder nicht, allerdings kommt es bei mir oft vor, das ich bei einer Wahl, welchen Film ich mir aus der Videothek leihe, nach dem prämierten Streifen greife, weil ich wissen will, was alle an dem Film gut finden.

Allerdings muss ein Film mit vielen Oscars nicht unbedingt gut sein, wie die Beispiele Titanic oder der letzte Herr der Ringe ja gezeigt haben. Die Kritiker fanden sie wohl richtig gut, ich fand beide sehr langweilig.

Der Oscar hat für mich Null Stellenwert, so wie jede Verleihungen, Preise und Auszeichnungen rund um den Globus. Wie Dave schon sagte, es ist schön, wenn Filme gewinnen, die es wirklich verdienten und ein wenig Geld zugesteckt bekommen, aber ich lasse mir nicht vorschreiben, welche Filme ich als gut empfinden muss, und welche nicht.

Doch die diesjährigen Oscars scheinen gut verteilt worden sein, Sweeney Todd und Country for old Men haben es redlich verdient!

Das Michael Moore wieder für einen Oscar nominiert war wusste ich gar nicht, ist ja der Hammer, hat die Academy seine erste Oscarrede wieder vergessen?

Oh mein Gott, Österreich hat ja nen Oscar bekommen!!!!!

Da werden sie wohl wieder Lobesreden über Lobesreden in unseren Zeitungen und im Fernsehen abhalten.

Ich habe weder "No Country for old men" noch "There will be blood" bis dato gesehen, werde mir ersteren aber morgen anschauen und dann meine Meinung abgeben. Der Vergleich hinkt zwar etwas, aber ich glaube es könnte so wie, wann war es, 94 oder 95 werden, als "Forrest Gump" den Oscar erhielt obwohl er "Die Verurteilten" zugestanden hätte. Ncfom steht hier für FG, Twbb für Tsr. Ich glaube man kann Twbb in seiner Komplexität gar nicht erfassen und es wird wohl auch seine Zeit brauchen, bis man diesen Film komplett aufsaugen kann. Hollywood war bei die Verurteilten noch nicht so weit und ist es heute bei Twbb auch nicht, weil diese Filme in einem reifen müssen. Und das dauert... Mehr dazu demnächst.

Ich glaub Madonna ist die Rekordhalterin was die Anzahl der goldenen Himbeeren betrifft aber Lindsay ist ihr da wohl dicht auf den Fersen

Ich sehe es ähnlich wie bereits im Thread hier erwähnt ... die Veranstaltung Academy Awards an sich finde ich zumindest horizonterweiternd um die Nominierten zu erfahren + Gewinner ... gleichzeitig freue ich mich aber durchaus auch wenn in meinen Augen jemand verdientes den Preis mit nach hause nimmt, interne Politik usw. sei da mal beiseite gestellt. Der Preis Oscar hat nunmal auch noch eine gewisse Zugkraft. Außerdem behauptet ja auch keiner, dass die Preise jemanden vorschreiben welcher Film jeder als gut einschätzen muss, ist ja auch letztendlich subjektive Stimmenabgabe.

Auf jeden Fall schafft es die Verleihung ähnlich wie die Emmys/Golden Globes, dass ich bei ausgezeichneten Filmen/Serien, die ich mir so vllt nicht gleich auf den ersten blick angeschaut hätte, doch noch einen Blick riskiere.

Btw. Interessanter Vergleich den Raven da eingebracht hat zwischen den beiden Favoritenfilmen 2008/1994 (ohen Frage sidn Forrest Gump sowie Shawshank Redemption 2 starke Filme, die es auch beide verdient hätten)... letztendlich muss man aber sagen, dass es sicherlich fast allen diesmal auch zugestanden hätte in dieser Kategorie den Sieg davonzutragen, höchstens bei Juno kann ich mir momentan noch keine Meinung erlauben, Abbitte sowie Clayton schätze ich ebenfalls als stark sein.

Ich bin gespannt, wie deine Meinung zu dem "Bardem Film" (imo trägt er viel von der Stärke des Films auf den Schultern) ist.
