- Wie bereits hier an dieser Stelle berichtet, gingen die Tickets für WrestleMania 28 am Samstag in den Verkauf. Wie jetzt bekannt wurde, hat der Event bereits jetzt schon einen neuen Rekord aufgestellt. So hat das Unternehmen am ersten Tag ganze US$ 6,3 Mio. eingenommen. Somit hat WrestleMania 28 den Rekord von WrestleMania 25 im Jahr 2009 gebrochen - damals nahm man am ersten Tag "nur" US$ 4,8 Mio. ein. Der Event findet am 01. April 2012 im Sun Life Stadium von Miami, Florida statt.

STAMFORD, Conn., Nov 07, 2011 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- WWE® announced today that first day ticket sales for WrestleMania XXVIII in Miami resulted in a record gross of $6.3 million, shattering the previous first day record of $4.8 million for the 25th Anniversary of WrestleMania.
Tickets went on sale this past Saturday, November 5 for WrestleMania XXVIII, which takes place Sunday, April 1, 2012 from Sun Life Stadium in Miami. The main event will feature The Rock® challenging John Cena® in the most highly anticipated main event ever in sports entertainment history. The event will be broadcast on pay-per-view and viewed in more than 100 countries.
