UFC President Dana White bestaetigte nun, dass die UFC versucht einen Fight mit Nate Diaz und Georges St-Pierre anzusatzen…im LIGHTWEIGHT!

“We’ve been offering Nate fights for however long. In his contract, and Nick Diaz, I have to give them three fights a year. Per the contract, I have to give them three fights a year. If I fail to give them three fights a year then I have to pay them. I have honored my contract with those guys.

They keep turning down the fights, which extends their contract, but we are working right now to try to put together a Georges St-Pierre vs. Nate Diaz fight. It is true and they would fight at 155 pounds.

I’m targeting L.A. In my perfect world — nothing goes perfect in this world — Dillashaw vs. Garbrandt, GSP vs. Diaz would be the co-main, Gustafsson vs. Rockhold, and Derek Brunson vs. Antonio Carlos Junior.”

Das Beste was man ueber den Fight sagen kann, wenigstens bekommen Beide damit keinen Titlefight. Ansonsten kein Interesse an dem Fight, GSP ist fuer Nate ein schreckliches Style Matchup, GSP wuerde Nate ueber drei Runden dominieren. GSP ist bereits 2-1 Favorit bei den Wettanbietern fuer den moeglichen Fight.

Nate Diaz sagte nun, dass GSP gedopt gewesen sei, als er Nick Diaz besiegte. Die UFC haette davon auch gewusst, aber nichts gemacht weil es in Montreal war….Jesus fucking Christ…nehmt den Diaz Bruedern die Drogen weg.

Nachdem UFC President Dana White erklaerte das er GSP vs. Nate Diaz booken will fuer UFC 227 sagte GSP nun, dass er kein Interesse an dem Fight haette, der Fight kein Sinn macht fuer ihn und er lieber auf Khabib Nurmagomedov oder Conor McGregor treffen will….

"There was a rumor about me fighting Nate Diaz, however it's not true. I never agreed to that. Nate is an excellent fighter, but I have nothing to gain by fighting him.

If I were to dominate him, people will say I'm a bully. If it's a competitive fight, I will be criticized because they will say I should have destroyed him. There is no way to look good in this fight.

If I was driven by money, I would take the Nate Diaz fight. But I'm not obsessed with money. Of course, that would make money because he is a big name. But even though I believe I am a very bad matchup for him -- right now, that's the easiest fight I can take -- I want to fight for legacy.”

Und auf Nurmagomedov und McGregor angesprochen meinte er:

“For me, that is a much better fight. It's a much tougher fight. It's more of a win-win situation.

Khabib called me out after his last fight and he's an amazing fighter, but I just feel like if I stepped in right now, it would be damageable to my health. The 155-pound division has a lot of contenders that deserve a title shot. I have health issues to take care of first.

If I was successful in winning the lightweight title, I would be the only athlete in the sport to win three titles. It's never been done before. Legacywise, it would be huge. Moneywise, it would be huge as well. It would be much more advantageous than fighting Nate Diaz.”

Oh Jesus…bitte nicht Khabib, das waere der naechste Titlefight fuer GSP den er nicht verdient und ein weiteres fuckery in der never ending UFC Lightweight Title Story. Das er auf Conor treffen will ist ja schon seit einem Jahr absehbar, da es der groesste Fight fuer ihn waere, und es auch noch ein leichtes Style Matchup fuer ihn sein wuerde. Wenn es GSP um seine legacy gehen wuerde, dann haette er den MW Title verteidigt gegen Whitaker, dass haette seiner legacy enorm geholfen, oder er wuerde erstmal einen Lightweight Contender Fight bestreiten. Denn seiner legacy hilft es nicht wenn er den naechsten undeserved Titlefight bekommt, nachdem der MW Titlefight schon ein Witz war. Oder GSP wuerde im WW antreten und erneut den WW Title gewinnen und gegen die jetzigen Top WW Fighter verteidigen.
