Erster UK Wrestling Channel

Sky Digital wird ab mitte 2004 einen eigenen Wrestlingchannel an den Start bringen.Im December 2003 wird es ein Testprogramm dazu geben auf Channel 268 Friendly TV,das Testprogramm wird am 1.12. also naechsten montag an den start gehen.Es gibt Geruechte,das wenn der Wrestling Channel mitte 2004 an den Start geht,das man auch TNA Wrestling sehen kann.
Das Testprogramm sieht wie folgt aus:

Monday 12/1: FWA/ROH Frontiers of Honor
Tuesday 12/2: "Mat Mayhem" - presented by Gene Okerlund, (Classic footage featuring The Road Warriors, Jerry Lawler, Randy Savage, Rick Rude and others.)
Wednesday 12/3: Pro Wrestling NOAH
Thursday 12/4: Irish Whip Wrestling
Friday 12/5: Frontiers of Honor
Saturday 12/6: "Mat Mayhem" (2 hours)

Nun wurde der Launch Termin fuer den Wrestling Channel in UK bekannt,es ist der 15.03.04.Folgende Promotions fuer den Wrestling Channel sind bereits bestaetigt: NWA TNA, MLW, Ohio Valley Wrestling, Pro Wrestling NOAH, ROH, CZW,FWA und Irish Whip Wrestling.Es werden sicherlich noch einige dazu kommen.

Folgende Presse erklaerung ging heraus:
"The Wrestling Channel will be launching on SKY Digital in the UK, on March 15th 2004. The Wrestling Channel will be bringing you the hottest Pro-Wrestling action from around the globe. Weekly TV shows from Japan, UK and the US indies, as well as some of the most memorable classic wrestling from the 70's, 80's & 90's.

Due to the positive response from the Friendly TV test transmissions during December, further test programming is now likely before the launch."
