wichtig ist doch nur, dass Hogan angepisst ist.. und nach Machtergreifung, diese gar nicht mal ausnutzen kann.. und da kann es nur die eine Option geben.. alles andere wäre sinnlos.

Das sie damit auch Anderson in die Quere kommt, wenn dem so ist (ich schau den Kram ja nicht), spielt dabei eine eher untergeordnete Rolle.. hilft aber auch dem Outlaw Status von Anderson, der ja gegen jeden vorgeht.

Damit hast du natürlich auch recht!

Das Hauptaugenmerk wird, sollte es Dixie Carter sein, auf Hogan liegen, der seinen Machtgewinn, den er bei Gericht errungen hat, gar nicht auskosten kann und trotz eigentlicher Führung nur die zweite Geige spielt! So konnte Dixie sich rächen und doch die Oberhand behalten!

Anderson wird dadurch als von allen Benachteiligter nur noch beliebter werden und kann, wie von mir erhofft, zum absoluten Überface à la Stone Cold in der WWE aufsteigen! (8)

Wäre super, wenn es so kommt, aber noch bleibe ich skeptisch!

SPIKE TV AND TOTAL NONSTOP ACTION (TNA) WRESTLING RELAUNCH FLAGSHIP PROGRAM AS ‘IMPACT WRESTLING’

Total Nonstop Action (TNA) Wrestling and Spike TV announced today that TNA’s flagship program would be rebranded as IMPACT WRESTLING, beginning Thursday, May 19 at 9 p.m. (ET/PT) on SPIKE.

With the debut of “TNA iMPACT!” in 2005, TNA and SPIKE have partnered to bring U.S. television audiences the most exciting professional wrestling in the world today. TNA iMPACT! has been averaging 1.8 million viewers this year and ranks among the top programs on cable with Men 18-34 and Men 18-49 in its timeslot. In 2011, TNA is up 11% in HH rating vs.Q1 2010 and 9% in viewership of persons 2+.

“While the name change is subtle, it is also very powerful. TNA is proud to be in the wrestling business, and not afraid to say it. And, to emphasize our commitment we have added the word ‘wrestling’ to our already well-known ‘iMPACT!’ brand,” said TNA chief marketing officer Al Ovadia.

In addition to rebranding IMPACT WRESTLING, TNA is launching the tagline, “WRESTLING MATTERS,” a statement that reflects every aspect of TNA Wrestling, from program content to marketing to live events.

“We wanted a branding initiative that was scalable and could extend across all platforms,” added Ovadia. “We asked our fans what it was about professional wrestling that they found most compelling. We learned it was no single aspect, their passion for wrestling was all-consuming. Whether it’s the in-ring action, backstage brawls, the feuds or classic dramatic conflict of good vs. evil, it’s the entire experience that makes ‘wrestling matter.’”

“TNA is a proven ratings winner on Thursday nights for Spike, delivering a consistently large audience of hard-to-reach young men,” said Brian J. Diamond, senior vice president, sports and specials, Spike TV. “We feel the new IMPACT WRESTLING branding message will resonate with our audience who crave the action-packed wrestling that only TNA can provide.”

Die Preview gefällt mir gut, denn sie ist schlicht gehalten und erzielt trotzdem den gewünschten Effekt!

Allerdings fehlt mir noch etwas der Anderon vs. Sting Teil, da es ja jetzt eigentlich nur um Foley - Hogan und Angle - Jarrett ging!

- Die kürzlich bei TNA debütierende Chyna ist laut Mike Johnson nicht bei den Impact Wrestling Tapings anwesend gewesen und war allem Anschein auch nie dafür eingeplant. Ob sie weitere Auftritte bei TNA haben wird, scheint noch nicht klar zu sein.
Der zurückgekehrte Chris Harris war dagegen anwesend, wurde allerdings nicht eingesetzt. Es ist noch unklar, ob er für morgen eingeplant ist.

Eine richtig gut einstimmende Preview für Impact Wrestling und auch die Sprache und die Lautstärke waren richtig gut gewählt, da kann man sich echt nicht beschweren. Frei nach dem Motto bescheiden aber gut, hat mich diese Promo aus irgendeinem Grund richtig überzeugt, auch wenn ich mir einen besseren Gegner als RVD für Angle hätte vorstellen können!

Na ja, vielleicht gibt es 'bessere Gegner' für Angle (die halt ähnlich viel wie er im Ring drauf haben), doch vom Namen her ist RVD einer der Topstars bei TNA. Er ist durch früher immer noch extrem beliebt und wahrscheinlich ähnlich bekannt wie Angle. Viele WWE Fans, die kein TNA gucken, kennen ihn noch von früher, weshalb ich mir sicher bin, dass das Match für gute Einschaltquoten sorgen wird :=:
