Die Serie der EliteXC-Superstars, die das Kampfgewicht nicht einhalten können setzt sich fort. Nachdem Gina Carano bei der letzten Show ihr Limit nicht schaffen konnte, ist es nun Nick Diaz, der gegen Muhsin Corbbrey eigentlich in der Gewichtsklasse bis 160 Pfund antreten sollte, beim Wiegen aber stolze 169,5 Pfund auf die Waage brachte. Corbbrey stimmte einem Catchweight Fight zu, was wohl vor allem daran lag, dass auch er drei Kilo zuviel wog. Soviel zur Professionalität bei EliteXC.
