Es scheint zur Zeit möglich zu sein, dass einer der Topstars, wenn nicht sogar DER Topstar der Indyszene, "The Fallen Angel" Christopher Daniels zur WWE kommen wird. Laut dem Message Board von IWA-Midsouth hat Christopher Daniels ihnen mitgeteilt, dass er bei der Show am 24.Januar 2003 nicht antreten wird, da er von der WWE einen Anruf erhalten hat und zu einem Tryout Camp für Ohio Valley Wrestling eingeladen wurde für die Möglichkeit eines WWE Development Vertrags oder sogar einen festen Vertrag bei World Wrestling Entertainment.

The Fallen Angel Christopher Daniels called us today and notified us that he would no longer be able to make our 300th show on Friday night January 24th. The WWE called him and offered him a spot in their tryout camp next month in OVW for an opportunity to earn a developmental deal for WWE and eventually work in the WWE. They asked him to cancel his date with us and not work for us in order to be invited to the camp.
We wish Christopher Daniels nothing but the best as he is a fantastic worker and was a pleasure to have at the TPI tournament. If he wants to work for the WWE, we wish him the best and hope that he is taken and everything works out for him. We are looking into finding a replacement for the matchup but it will be difficult finding someone as talented as Daniels to work against Jerry Lynn. Lynn will still be there and it will be a great show with many returns from the IWA names of the past.
