Zitat:There are plenty of people buzzing at tonight's TNA Impact taping about the condition of Jeff Hardy last night. Hardy showed up in no condition to work the Victory Road main event and it sent officials into a panic on how to handle it. The thinking was it would be better to let Hardy go out to work rather than pulling him from the show and getting accused of false advertising.
Hardy approached Sting and said he wanted to work their planned match but Sting was having none of it. He was livid backstage and said he would do what he could to get the match over as quickly as possible. Eric Bischoff made the match a no-disqualification bout to give them as much freedom as possible.
No one was happy with how it went over but it's a situation where TNA officials felt they were backed into a corner. Some observers have said it made the company look "rinky dink" while TNA wrestlers have told that Hardy should have never been allowed to go to the ring.
A meeting with TNA management was held earlier today where the decision was made to send Hardy home to Cameron, North Carolina. Meanwhile, Hulk Hogan addressed the situation on his Twitter account by writing the following to a fan who said it was time the company cut ties with Hardy:
brother were trying to get everything straightened out,I feel bad about some of the situiations that have to be delta with HH
Bret Hart:
Zitat:"Getting asked a lot about Jeff Hardy. Know very little about it. I will say that TNA fans deserve better than what they got last night."
