So why was I supposed to invest in that match? Josh Mathews continues to barely be present during the broadcast. He could be a voice of reason, but he isn't. At least he explained the phrase "shoots a half" to Cole who has himself overused that phrase many times over the years. Again, it is a lack of consistency from their characters. I could give several more examples of stupid and annoying things said by the announcers during the show, but I would be writing all day. The announcing makes me want to skip the show.
