Robert Whiteford
Clint Hester
Willie Gates
Dominic Waters
Yan Cabral
Filip Pejic

Fuer den TUF 8 Sieger Efrain Escudero ist es bereits die dritte UFC Entlassung. Sein erster Stint endete 2010 nach einem 3-2-0 Record, Der zweite Stint endete 2012 nach einem 0-2-0 Record und jetzt 2016 nach einem 2-3-0 Record.

Miesha Tate sagte nun das sie Ronda Rousey fuer “somewhat emotionally unstable“ haelt.

“I think Ronda is somewhat emotionally unstable and I think that’s been characteristic for a long time. It doesn’t mean she fights any worse for it. I’m not knocking her as an athlete, but emotionally she’s just got some things that are a little bit strange and I think that the blow-up with VanZant was one of them.

I feel like you can tell a lot about a person who, if they’re nice to people that they don’t have to be nice to you, or if they’re not nice to people that they don’t have to be nice to you, and I feel like things that sometimes people don’t see on the massive media outlets is the way that Ronda is behind scenes.

This is just one example. This is a big reason why Ronda and I don’t get along. It’s not even the career, it’s the difference in our personal perspectives. That’s why we have the rivalry. We just happen to also be in the same profession and fighting the same weight class and that’s what people are really interested in, but truly this is where I disagree with Ronda the most.”

UFC Featherweight Fighter Chad Mendes wurde mit der UFC von der USADA ueber einen postiven Test von Mendes informiert.

Es handelte sich hierbei um einen out of competition Test. Der 31 jaehrige Mendes (17-4-0) wurde zuletzt im December 2015 von Frank Edgar ausgeknockt, davor verlor er durch TKO gegen McGregor.

Auch Anthony Pettis (18-5-0 MMA Record / 5-4-0 UFC Record) macht das, was viele Fighter machen wenn sie verlieren, sie wechseln die Gewichtsklasse. Nach drei Niederlagen in Folge in der Lightweight Division gab Anthony Pettis bekannt, dass er ab sofort im Featherweight antritt. Sein 145 Pounds Debut will er bereits im Sommer geben.

Es ist der Running Gag schlechthin. Es wird wiedermal berichtet das Fedor Emelianenko in Vertragsgespraechen mit der UFC ist. Fedor selbst sagte, das er ein Angebot der UFC vorliegen hat, und man nah beeinander sei:

“I always wanted to fight for UFC and I would fight for UFC, but at this moment we’re looking at the deal and the deal has to satisfy both parties — them and my organization. Until there’s no friction, until we are 100-percent in terms of seeing eye-to-eye, we are all basically in limbo.

Right now, I’m much closer compared to when I just came back to MMA. We did receive an offer, but there are some finer points that we wanted to discuss.”

Dan Henderson, der zuvor vom Karriereende sprach, will seine Karriere fortsetzen, und wenn es nur fuer einen Fight mit Michael Bisping ist. War natuerlich abzusehen und ist logisch das Hendo den Fight will. Er hat zwar den Titlefight nicht verdient, aber der Fight waere gut vermarktbar und die Chance das er UFC MW Champion werden wuerde, waeren ziemlich hoch.

Donald Trump hat sich jetzt geauessert, dass UFC President Dana White bei der Republikanischen Nationalversammlung am 18 bis 21 July sprechen soll. Trump sagte das er will das Gewinner wieder zu Wort kommen, und Dana White waere ein Gewinner.

White selbst hat sich wie folgt zu Donald Trump geauessert:

“When we bought this business, it was banned in most states. It wasn't supported by the athletic commissions and no arenas wanted this thing. Donald Trump was the first one to have us come out at the Trump Taj Mahal. Not only did we host the events there, but he actually showed up and supported the events. You'll never hear me say a negative thing about Donald Trump. And you know what? When we did our big Fox deal, there was a big write-up in the New York Times, on the front page. On the front page, he wrote, 'Congratulations, Dana. I always knew you were going to do it,' and he sent the front page to me. Me and Donald are cool.”

So soll es nun am 10. September bei UFC 203 der Fall sein.
