Aber das soll jetzt nicht das Thema sein. Das ist ein Huldigungsthread für EDGE!!!!

Ausgerechnet Edge - einer meiner ersten Lieblingswrestler ... Bin mal gespannt, wie es mit dem World Heavyweight Title und SmackDown weitergeht. Sollte Christian dadurch bald seine erste World Championship gewinnen und Main Eventer werden, wäre es natürlich schön, aber es würde schon einen 'unschönen Beigeschmack' haben.

Hätte echt gerne noch mal ein WrestleMania Match zwischen ihm und Christian gesehen.

Vielleicht ist es aber auch gut für Edge bzw. seinen Körper. Er wollte ja eh bald aufhören. Immerhin hat er in den letzten Jahren viele (Gimmick-) Matches bestritten und kann nun seinen Körper voll und ganz ausruhen.

..ich schau ich auch grad RAW.. bin an dem Segment vorbei und.. bin irgenwie sprachlos. Das kommt jetzt sehr überraschend und schnell.. und aber ich bin auch froh, dass er auf die Ärzte hört und sich sein Leben nicht aus falschem Stolz ruiniert.

Vielleicht ist es ja Edges letzte Tat, dass er durch die Situation zu seinem Karriere Christian unbewusst den Main-Event-Push gibt.

Schon beeindruckend, die lange Liste der Leute, die nur gutes über ihn sagen, sogar Matt hardy, was ich mal als richtig groß erachte, wo er doch sonst immer son Müll erzählt!

Es war zwar klar, dass er bald abtreten wird aber das war wirklich ein unglaublich, dass es schn so früh sein wird...

Danke Edge! Ich werde ihn vermissen...

Wow, einer meiner Lieblings-Perfomer der letzten 10 Jahre tritt zurück.

Einerseits ein Schock, aufgrund der Schnelle. Andererseits genau die richtige Entscheidung für den Privatmann Copeland. Ich hoffe er bleibt auch dabei und läßt sich zu nichts mehr überreden.

Ich mochte Edge (zu Anfangs in Verbindung mit Christian) in beinahe jeder Gimmick-Ausrichtung.

Die Top-Zeit war natürlich der "Rated-R-Superstar", dort hat er unglaublich polarisiert und war für mich einer der besten (wenn nicht der Beste) Heels der letzten Dekade.

Ich werde ihn, wie alle anderen hier, sehr im Ring vermissen und auch WWE wird diesen Wegfall nicht ohne weiteres kompensieren, da solide Main-Event-Worker (die auch andere durch ein Match ziehen) derzeit rar gesät sind.

Edit: Ist zwar eher eine (ungewollte) Nebensache, aber als WHC-Champion zurückzutreten rückt diesen großartigen Mann in das genau richtige Licht.
